The Institution of Surrey is an English public research university located in Guildford. Following the suggestions in the Robbins Report, the university got its royal charter in 1966, along with a number of other institutions. Previously known as Battersea College of Technology, it was located in Battersea Park, London. Its origins, however, may be traced back to the Battersea Polytechnic Institute, which was formed in 1891 to give further and higher education to London’s poorer residents.

Surrey is excited to introduce a revolutionary new scholarship program designed to welcome new master’s students from seven different nations.
